My concentration is a timeline of my Uncle Gregory’s life portrayed by pieces made from ceramics, books, and other materials. When I was thirteen my Uncle Gregory passed away from pancreatic cancer that eventually spread to his gallbladder, liver, stomach, bladder, and intestines. His sickness is not the focus of my body of work , even though there are pieces that portray that stage in his life. I wanted to center my interest on his life as a whole instead of only his cancer.
